ABOUT
concept
I was inspired by the idea of what a modern, working woman cycling to work in NYC would wear.

INSPIRATION
research
I was inspired by my experience of riding my bike to my internship the previous summer. The summers and early fall in NYC are hot so I often wore easily adjustable clothing with good coverage of the body so I could comfortably ride my bike.

I referenced classic menswear designs and injected some cycling culture with adjustable zippers and a skirt of build in shorts.

I chose to work with dark wash denim, airy cottons, jersey knits, and a statement woven.
